About
Curious about living a car-free or car-lite lifestyle in Lancaster County?
Ride, Roll & Stroll Lancaster engages residents, businesses, non-profit organizations, and elected officials to advance walking, bicycling, transit ridership, and micromobility options in Lancaster, PA. Through events, campaigns, presentations, and advocacy, we bring the community together around the issue of active transportation to address the negative environmental and social impacts of car-dominant infrastructure. In 2024, with funding from The Climate Reality Project and the Lancaster Bike Club, we are pursuing new types of events, partnerships and civic engagement opportunities to advance safe, convenient, and inviting transportation options in our community. We are proud to partner with The Common Wheel, Lancaster Downtowners, CommutePA, and the City of Lancaster.
Ride, Roll & Stroll Lancaster was launched in 2023 by the Lancaster Global Shapers Hub. Born out of the World Economic Forum, the Global Shapers Community is a network of inspiring young people under the age of 30 working together to address local, regional and global challenges. With more than 10,000 members, the Global Shapers Community spans 500 city-based hubs in 150 countries. Learn more about the Lancaster Global Shapers Hub here.
